Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace via his Truth Social platform, predicting her imminent dismissal. This outburst follows a series of posts criticizing media coverage of his recent activities, including a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

The online tirade began with a cryptic post simply stating "Bela," prompting speculation among his followers. A subsequent reply featured a doctored image of Wallace, labeled with disparaging terms like "Typhoid Mary Nicole Wallace" and "Clown News." Trump directly responded to this image, amplifying the criticism.

"She is a loser, with bad ratings, who was already thrown off of The View," Trump wrote about Wallace. "She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!"

Wallace, who currently hosts Deadline: White House on MSNBC, previously served as White House communications director under President George W. Bush. Trump's comments referenced her past departure from The View.

Trump also expressed his frustration with media coverage of his meeting with Putin in Alaska, where he reportedly discussed the conflict in Ukraine. He claimed that the "Fake News violently distorts the TRUTH" when it comes to him.

Before his meeting with Putin, Trump had indicated that Putin could expect "severe consequences" if he did not agree to end the fighting in Ukraine. He has since altered his stance, suggesting that achieving peace may require territorial concessions from Ukraine. A meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is reportedly scheduled for Monday.

Trump's History with Nicolle Wallace

This isn't the first time Trump has publicly criticized Wallace. Their relationship has been strained for years, with Trump frequently targeting her and MSNBC for what he perceives as biased coverage.

The Broader Context: Trump and the Media

This incident is part of a larger pattern of Trump's attacks on the media. He routinely accuses news organizations of being "fake news" and of deliberately misrepresenting him. This latest outburst underscores the ongoing tension between Trump and the press.
