This is the second edition of the regional club tournament, and the Spirit are making their debut appearance after finishing as runner-up in the 2024 NWSL Championship. Gotham FC won the inaugural tournament this past May.
Alianza qualified as champions of the Apertura 2024 and Clausura 2025 of El Salvador’s women’s professional league, making them a formidable opponent on their home turf.
