The Powerball jackpot is climbing! After no one matched all six numbers in the recent drawing, the estimated jackpot for the next drawing has reached a staggering $750 million. This makes it the 10th largest Powerball jackpot in history.

How Much Does a Powerball Ticket Cost?

A single Powerball ticket typically costs $2. For an extra $1 per play, you can add the Power Play option, which can multiply your winnings (excluding the jackpot).

When is the Next Powerball Drawing?

Powerball drawings are held three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Make sure to purchase your tickets before the drawing time to be eligible.

What Happens if You Win?

If you win the jackpot, you have a choice: an annuitized prize of $750 million, paid out over 29 years, or a lump sum payment estimated at $338.6 million before taxes. The annuity option includes an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, each increasing by 5%.

Recent Winners and Lucky Numbers

While no one won the grand prize recently, several players still walked away with significant winnings. One lucky contestant in South Dakota won $2 million by matching five white balls and using the Power Play option. Two other tickets, sold in Maine and New York, matched five white balls to win $1 million each. Many others won smaller prizes.

The winning numbers for the recent drawing were 11, 14, 34, 47, 51, and the Powerball was 18. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

Your Odds and More Likely Events

While winning the Powerball is a long shot, it's fun to dream! Remember to play responsibly. Good luck!
