Packers' Star TE Tucker Kraft Injured! Will He Play Sunday?

Green Bay Packers fans are holding their breath after tight end Tucker Kraft suffered a left knee injury during Thursday's practice. NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo, and Tom Pelissero broke the news, sending ripples of concern through the team and its supporters.

While the severity of the injury is still being evaluated, initial reports suggest that it might not be a long-term issue. Kraft was listed as limited in Thursday's practice report. The injury occurred after Packers coach Matt LaFleur addressed reporters earlier in the day.

This setback comes at a challenging time for the Packers, who are already dealing with the loss of starting receiver Jayden Reed, who suffered a broken collarbone last Thursday night and is expected to be sidelined for up to eight games. The acquisition of Micah Parsons in the preseason seemed to bolster the team, but these injuries are testing their depth.

Kraft is coming off a stellar performance in Week 2, where he snagged six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown against the Washington Commanders. He's currently the Packers' leading receiver in catches (8), yards (140), and receiving touchdowns (4).

If Kraft is unable to play or is limited, the Packers will likely rely more heavily on Luke Musgrave at tight end, along with their other receivers. Musgrave has three receptions for 36 yards in the first two weeks. Other tight end options include John FitzPatrick and Ben Sims.

The Green Bay Packers (2-0) are scheduled to face the Cleveland Browns (0-2) in Cleveland on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The team hopes to have a clearer picture of Kraft's availability before the weekend.
