Jax revealed in an interview on ESPN1530 that she harbored aspirations of playing linebacker. "I wanted to hit [the other players]. That was the fun part for me," she stated, adding that her physicality on the soccer field often resulted in yellow and red cards. Her mother, however, wasn't keen on the idea of her playing football due to the physical nature of the sport. This led Jax to explore other avenues, ultimately leading her to basketball and, eventually, WWE.
