Gloria Estefan Rocks Madrid! FREE Concert You Can't Miss!
Madrid is gearing up for Hispanidad 2025, a ten-day celebration of Hispanic culture running from October 3rd to 12th. This fifth edition promises a vibrant mix of music, literature, film, dance, and folklore, all under the banner of “Todos los acentos caben en Madrid” (All accents fit in Madrid).
With over 200 activities spread across nearly 70 venues, Hispanidad 2025 will showcase artists from 23 countries. A major highlight is the free concert by the iconic Gloria Estefan on Sunday, October 5th, at Plaza de Colón. Estefan will be performing a career-spanning set celebrating her 50 years in music. Don't miss it!
The festivities kick off with Estefan delivering the opening address on October 3rd. The traditional Hispanidad parade will also make its way down Gran Vía on October 5th. Music will be a central theme, with free concerts taking place in iconic squares and venues throughout Madrid. Other notable artists performing include Bomba Estéreo, Babasónicos, Alizzz, María José Llergo, and many more.
More Than Just Music
Hispanidad 2025 offers something for everyone. Families can enjoy clown shows, circus acts, puppet performances, and street parades. Latin American theater and performing arts companies will also be showcased, along with exhibitions and guided tours. A tribute to Mario Vargas Llosa is planned, featuring a film series culminating on October 6th at the Teatros del Canal.

Plaza de España will be a key venue, hosting a series of concerts:
- October 9th: Chita (6:30 PM), Aleesha (7:00 PM), Bon Calso (10:00 PM)
- October 10th: Muerdo (7:00 PM), Dillom (9:30 PM)
- October 11th: Eliades Ochoa (1:00 PM), La Ganga
