Sabrina Carpenter is set to dominate the summer once again! Fresh off the heels of her latest single, "Manchild," Carpenter has officially announced her seventh studio album, Man's Best Friend, slated for release on August 29th via Island Records.

The album announcement follows a hugely successful year for Carpenter. Her previous album, Short n' Sweet, released in 2024, achieved global success and earned her first Grammy Awards. The album spawned the hit singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," solidifying Carpenter's position as a pop music powerhouse. Short n' Sweet topped charts worldwide and became one of the biggest global debuts of 2024.

The lead single from Man's Best Friend, "Manchild," which Carpenter co-wrote with Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, has already hit No. 1 on both the Spotify US and Global charts. The music video for the single has garnered over 15 million views, showcasing Carpenter's continued popularity and influence. Carpenter describes the song as “the song embodiment of a loving eye roll and it feels like a never ending road trip in the summer!”

Carpenter's recent performances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona were a huge success. She's also scheduled to perform at various outdoor shows and festivals throughout the summer, including two nights at London’s Hyde Park and Lollapalooza. She will also be appearing at both weekends of Austin City Limits.

Short n’ Sweet earned Carpenter six Grammy nominations and two wins including Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso.” Following the Grammys, Carpenter released Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe), which featured five additional songs, including a duet with Dolly Parton on “Please Please Please.”
