ARAM (All Random All Mid) players, rejoice! Riot Games is shaking up the beloved game mode with a brand new ARAM experience, launching on June 25, 2025, with patch 25.13. Get ready for a three-map rotation and an improved Champion Select system designed to add fresh excitement to your ARAM battles.
Goodbye Howling Abyss, Hello Variety!
For years, the Howling Abyss has been the sole stage for ARAM clashes. But now, it's time to spice things up with a rotation of three unique maps:
- Howling Abyss: The classic, of course!
- Butcher's Bridge: Back from the archives, Butcher's Bridge replaces portals with cannons that launch players across the map. These cannons can propel you to the furthest-standing tower, offering new strategic possibilities. A central alcove also adds a new dimension to the map's linearity. Knocking down the flower in this alcove provides temporary cover.

According to Eduardo Cortejoso, Modes Product Lead at Riot Games, these changes are intended to be permanent, although the team is open to feedback and further adjustments. The goal is to ensure that any changes made to ARAM are a "net positive" for the community.
Champion Select Improvements
