New York City's mayoral race is heating up, and voters have a crucial opportunity to see the leading Democratic candidates face off in a debate this week. Several news outlets are partnering to bring the debate to the public, offering various ways to watch and listen.

The candidates were selected based on fundraising and poll performance, and are required to participate as a condition of receiving public matching funds from the city’s Campaign Finance Board. The speaking order was determined randomly, with Stringer leading, followed by Myrie, Tilson, Adams, Lander, Mamdani, and concluding with Cuomo.
