A 37-year-old man died in a head-on collision on Manchester Expressway in Columbus, Georgia, authorities have confirmed. The incident is currently under investigation.

Tragic Accident Details

According to the Muscogee County Coroner’s Office, Tyler Carr Cashbaugh suffered fatal injuries when his vehicle reportedly crossed the median on Manchester Expressway and collided head-on with a Ram pickup truck. The collision occurred approximately one mile west of County Line Road.

Cashbaugh was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m. Officials stated that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and sustained blunt force trauma to the chest and head.

Injuries to Others Involved

The driver of the Ram pickup truck and two child passengers were also injured in the crash. They were transported to a local hospital with what officials described as minor injuries. Their current condition remains undisclosed, but initial reports suggest they are stable.
