Tragic Crash in Grimes County: 18-Year-Old Killed!
A devastating head-on collision in Grimes County, Texas, has claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman from Frisco. The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on State Highway 90, south of County Road 115.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the crash took place at approximately 3:45 p.m. A 2023 Mazda CX-5, traveling southbound, attempted to pass slower-moving vehicles by entering the northbound lane. The driver of the Mazda, identified as Kate Connally, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. First responders were unable to revive her.
Injuries Sustained by Jeep Occupants
The driver and passenger of the Jeep Wrangler both sustained serious injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency medical services transported them to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan for treatment. Their current conditions are unknown.
