Daytime Emmy Nominations 2025: First Round REVEALED! Who Made the Cut?
The 52nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards are just around the corner, and the nominations are starting to roll in! The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has begun unveiling the nominees, building anticipation for the October 17th ceremony in Pasadena.
Early Reveals and Surprises
Unlike previous years where the event took place in June, this year's show is slated for October. "Extra" scored the exclusive reveal of the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program categories. Entertainment Tonight earlier shared the noms for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Lifestyle Program.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series: The Nominees
The competition is fierce! Here are the actresses vying for the coveted award:

One notable absence this year is CBS's new soap opera, Beyond the Gates, as the eligibility window was January 1-December 31, 2024. However, the show will be eligible for next year's awards.
Also new this year is the Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series category, replacing the Outstanding Younger Performer category. NATAS also split the Culinary Series and Travel, Nature and Adventure categories, offering more recognition to diverse programming.
