Game 2 will also feature a first-pitch ceremony by Ryosuke Irie, a silver medalist in the men's 200-meter backstroke at the London Olympics, and a performance of the national anthem by the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra.

Following Game 2, a baton-touch ceremony will be held to pass the torch to Toyama City Mayor Hirohisa Fujii, as Toyama is slated to host next year's All-Star Game.
