Blackpink is back, and bigger than ever! The K-pop sensation, consisting of Rosé, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo, electrified SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Saturday night, kicking off the North American leg of their highly anticipated Deadline World Tour. This marks their first U.S. concert since the conclusion of the Born Pink tour in 2023, after a two-year hiatus dedicated to individual projects.

Despite releasing only one new group track, the hardstyle-infused "Jump," produced by Diplo, Blackpink managed to sell out two nights at the massive Los Angeles venue. Rosé expressed the group's excitement, stating, "This is incredible. It is such an honor to perform at the SoFi Stadium for you guys. We are really really excited to be here."

The stadium was transformed into a sea of pink, with fans showcasing their dedication through elaborate outfits inspired by the group's namesake and individual solo projects. One fan, Evelyn Rios, perfectly recreated Jennie's look from the "Ruby" album cover, sporting an all-black ensemble and a vibrant cherry-red wig. Sarah Hoang, a dedicated fan since their Coachella debut in 2019, even handed out commemorative tickets to fellow concertgoers.

A Night of Electrifying Performances

The show was structured into five distinct acts and an encore, seamlessly alternating between group performances and solo showcases. Blackpink launched the concert with a powerful rendition of "Kill This Love," immediately captivating the audience. Throughout the night, each member's unique personality and talent shone brightly.

Google Maps Joins the Party!

Even Google Maps is getting in on the Blackpink excitement! Google Maps has teamed up with JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA to help fans get to the shows. Easily compare routes and modes, see live traffic updates and ETAs or even hail a rideshare. Plus, Street View’s iconic mascot Pegman is already en route to the tour — and has been replaced with a BLINK!
