Despite his strong association with the franchise, Stallone isn't a fan of every 'Rocky' film. He gave 'Rocky V' a 0/10 rating, admitting he “was definitely not there” during its production. The film sees Balboa back in his old neighborhood, facing financial ruin and the end of his fighting career.
Lily James Tackles 'Cliffhanger' Remake
Lily James is set to star in a remake of Stallone's action flick, 'Cliffhanger'. Described as “feral” and “raw,” the reimagining features James in the lead role. After previous attempts to reboot or continue the franchise stalled, this gender-swapped remake is reportedly making significant progress and is expected to hit screens soon.
James has confirmed the film is progressing well and is on track to be released soon. She will also be seen in the movie, Finally Dawn, due out next weekend on July 18, 2025.
