What is NYT Connections?

Connections, launched by the New York Times in June 2023, presents players with 16 words and tasks them with grouping them into four categories based on a common theme. Sounds easy, right? The catch is you only have four mistakes to spare! Each category is color-coded: yellow (easiest), green, blue, and purple (most challenging).

The Sports Edition, in collaboration with The Athletic, adds a sporty twist to the original game, testing your knowledge of the athletic world.
