In a landmark move that reshapes the global satellite landscape, SES has officially completed its acquisition of Intelsat. This merger creates a multi-orbit connectivity powerhouse, boasting a combined fleet of 120 satellites spanning Geostationary Orbit (GEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO).

A New Era of Connectivity

The newly formed company aims to leverage its extensive resources and expertise to provide integrated multi-orbit, multi-band satellite, and connectivity solutions to businesses and governments worldwide. With approximately 90 GEO and nearly 30 MEO satellites, as well as strategic access to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations, SES is now positioned to offer a comprehensive range of services.

SES's expanded capabilities will enable the delivery of premium-quality services and tailored solutions, utilizing complementary spectrum bands including C-, Ku-, Ka-, Military Ka-, X-band, and Ultra High Frequency.
