Ulsan HD coach Noh Sang-rae has declared the upcoming match against Buriram United of Thailand as “the most important week of the year.” The two teams are set to clash in Game 5 of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Elite (ACLE) League Stage on November 26th at Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Coach Roh emphasized the significance of the home game. “It’s the end [of the K League 1 season]. It’s the most important week of the year. Buriram is also very important. It's a home game. I don't want to leave any regrets. I'll do my best with the determination that it's the last one,” he stated.
Ulsan is juggling both K League 1 and ACLE commitments, but Coach Roh remains confident in his squad's ability to perform. He acknowledged the challenge of playing the final league game while simultaneously preparing for the ACLE match. Fortunately, the team has few major injuries, allowing for a competitive lineup against Buriram.
“K League 1 and ACLE are playing at the same time. All the players are preparing well. We need to find the best combination and step up,” Coach Roh explained. He also highlighted the importance of the final league game but expressed faith in the players who will face Buriram. “Ulsan is a team that can do its part regardless of which player comes forward. I believe the players who play against Buriram will do well. I'll prepare well until the end.”
The match promises to be a thrilling encounter, with Ulsan aiming to secure a crucial victory in the ACLE League Stage.
