Legia Warsaw faced a disappointing start to their pre-season preparations, losing 2-3 to Wisła Płock in a friendly match held at Legia Training Center (LTC) on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The match, played behind closed doors, saw both teams experimenting with their lineups and tactics ahead of the upcoming season.
Match Highlights:
The game started with a flurry of early goals. Wisła Płock took the lead within the first few minutes, capitalizing on a quick attack down the right flank. Legia responded swiftly, with Migouel Alfarela equalising in the 6th minute after a cross from Paweł Wszołek.
Legia then took the lead through Rafał Augustyniak, but Wisła Płock fought back strongly in the second half. They equalised with a powerful shot from outside the box, and then secured the victory with another goal, leaving Legia trailing.

Both teams made wholesale changes at halftime, with Legia fielding a completely different XI. This provided opportunities for several players to showcase their skills and fitness. The second-half lineup included players like Mendes-Dudziński, Kun, Barcia, and Gual.
