GNAT Dey Beg Education Managers Make Dem Find Exam Malpractice Causes

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) dey beg all the big people for education inside Ghana make dem sit down sharp and find out why exam malpractice no dey stop for this country. Dem say na serious problem wey dey spoil things for the education system. According to GNAT, na time for everybody to come together and ask themselves, wetin dey happen? Why people dey try all means to cheat for exams?

GNAT General Secretary, Thomas Musah, talk say dem don try plenty things already. Dem don prosecute invigilators, sack GES staff wey dem catch for illegal things, and seize mobile phones. But still, the malpractice dey continue and even dey increase. He even mention how dem kill Asare Menako, WAEC staff wey try stop students from cheating but dem stab am.

Mr. Musah dey vex say dem don punish plenty people already. Some teachers dem terminate their appointment, some students dem cancel their results. “Rewriting, they've been doing it. What kind of punishment have we not meted out to individuals? Some have even died,” he talk am.

WAEC monitoring teams sef catch plenty irregularities and cheating for this year's WASSCE. Some students dey impersonate, some dey snap questions, some dey give answers, and some dey carry mobile phones enter exam hall. Dem catch more than 16 people for different exam centers and seize 64 mobile phones for one school alone. Dem still dey investigate the matter.

GNAT dey want make education managers take this matter serious and find real solutions to stop exam malpractice for Ghana.
