BECE School Placement 2025: Over 107,000 to Use Self-Placement Portal!
Eiii Ghana! The Ministry of Education dey announce say dem release the 2025 school placement for BECE candidates. You know say over 603,000 students write the exam, but only 590,309 qualify for SHS, SHTS, and TVI?
The Ministry dey talk say 483,800 candidates, wey be like 82 percent, dem place dem automatically. But chale, 107,509 candidates go fi use the self-placement portal. Ah! That one dey be serious matter o!
Why Self-Placement?
Deputy Education Minister, Dr. Clement Apaak, explain say because everybody dey want the top schools, some students no fi get their first choice. So, he dey encourage dem to use the self-placement system wey dey work now.
Free SHS and Private Schools
This year, the Ministry dey try 70 private schools under the Free SHS Programme. Before, na only 21 dey inside the school selection, but now all 70 dey the placement portal. E be good news for we all!
Where to Find Help?
The placement dey cover 724 public SHSs/SHTSs, 233 TVIs, and the 70 private SHSs. If you dey struggle, dem set up resolution centres for district, regional, and national levels. The GNAT Hall for Accra dey be the national centre.

The Ministry dey remind parents and guardians say placement dey be free. No go pay anybody for placement o! Dem go chop your money for nothing.
