Who be Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings?

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings be di longest-serving First Lady of Ghana. She serve from June 4, 1979, to September 24, 1979, under di Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC), den from December 31, 1981, to January 6, 1993, under di Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC). After dat, she serve again from January 7, 1993, to January 6, 2001, when her husband, Jerry John Rawlings, be president.

Her Life and Education

Born for Cape Coast, Nana Konadu go Ghana International School den Achimota School, where she meet Jerry John Rawlings. She study Art and Textiles for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She also get interior design diploma from London College of Arts for 1975. She further her education for Ghana's Management Development and Productivity Institute den Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

Political Career

She make history for 2016 when she become di first woman to run for President of Ghana. For 2018, she launch her book, "It Takes a Woman." Nana Konadu be a strong advocate for women empowerment den development for Ghana.
