Ghana Immigration Recruitment: Gov't Caps Screening at 1,000 Daily

Government dey cap security services applicants screening at 1,000 per day, according to official announcement. This dey come after tragic incident wey happen for recruitment exercise. Interior Minister, Mr. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, talk say dem go decentralize recruitment process for internal security services, plus multiple screening centers across all regions.

New Recruitment Strategy After Tragedy

The new arrangement dey follow the stampede wey happen on Wednesday, November 12, wey cause the death of six people wey dey hope to join the security services. Mr. Mubarak talk say government dey overhaul recruitment approach to avoid overcrowding and unsafe conditions wey contribute to the fatalities.

“No screening centre go accommodate more than 1,000 people at a time. This go enable us to maintain safe and comfortable environment for all applicants,” he talk.

Screening Schedule and Online System

Mr Mubarak explain say screening go dey done in turns, plus Police Service wey go complete their process before other agencies start theirs. Dis dey prevent simultaneous screenings for the same location.

The opening of applications dey reschedule from November 15 to November 17, 2025, to honor the victims and complete new safety arrangements.
