Michigan Football: Ohio State Clash & Weather Forecast

Michigan Wolverines fans, get ready for the big game against Ohio State! The rivalry is heating up, and everyone's got an opinion. Eddie George believes Ohio State will beat Michigan, stating, "They're ready for this one!" But will his prediction come true?

Weather Woes for The Game?

Adding another layer to the excitement is the weather forecast. According to the Detroit Free Press, kickoff at the Big House is scheduled for noon. However, snow is expected to start around 1 p.m. in Ann Arbor. If you're heading to the game, bundle up! The high temperature is expected to be near 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Winter Storm Warning in Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Ann Arbor from 3 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday. Between 5 and 8 inches of snow could be possible! Traveling to the game might be tricky, and sticking around afterward might not be the best idea. Lighter snowfall will spread across southeast Michigan between 1 and 4 p.m., with heavier snowfall rates (up to an inch per hour) between 6 p.m. and midnight.

The National Weather Service advises delaying travel if possible. If you must travel, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and other drivers, allow extra time, and avoid sudden braking or acceleration. Be especially cautious on hills and when making turns. Ensure your car is winterized.

  • Keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle.
  • Avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Drive slowly and carefully if you must travel.

Metro Detroit is also expecting snow this weekend, with 4-7 inches predicted. Stay safe and enjoy the game!
