Ross Duffer shared an emotional Instagram post explaining the casting choice. He revealed that high school was a difficult time for him and his brother Matt, but Hope Hynes Love saw potential in them that they didn't see in themselves. She gave them the confidence to pursue their dreams in Los Angeles.
"High school was rough for me and my brother," Ross wrote. "But Hope saw something in us we didn't see in ourselves. And she helped give us the confidence to not only survive those four years, but to move to LA and chase our dreams."

Miss Harris's Role in Season 5
