Season 28 of 'The Voice' is bringing unprecedented changes to how the Top 6 contestants will be selected! Forget the usual format, this season puts the power firmly in the hands of the viewers, giving deserving artists a second chance at stardom. Get ready for a thrilling ride as Coaches Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, and Niall Horan navigate these new rules.
How the New System Works
This season, each Coach can only select one finalist from their team to advance directly to the Live Shows. But don't worry, the other three members aren't entirely out of the running! They enter a pool of artists that viewers can vote on.
Here’s the breakdown:
- After the Playoffs on December 1, featuring Team Reba and Team Bublé, viewers can vote for one of the six unselected artists on NBC.com/VoiceVote or using the Voice App.
- The same process will occur after the December 8 episode with Team Snoop and Team Niall.
- This will result in a Top 6 who will compete in the Live Finale on December 15!
As always, viewers will ultimately decide who wins 'The Voice'.
