Di two people – Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, wey be former Board Chairman of GIIF, and Solomon Asamoah, wey be former CEO of GIIF – dey face trial for di Criminal Division of di High Court sake of say dem allegedly cause financial loss of $2 million for one deal to build sky train for di kontri.
Di two, wey don plead not guilty to six counts of conspiracy, willfully causing financial loss to di state and intentional dissipation of public funds, dem don grant bail of GH¢25 million combined plus two sureties wey dey justified.
Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi dem tell am say he for report to di police once every week while Asamoah di bail conditions require am say he for report to di investigator every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
