CSUN Men's Soccer kicked off their season with a thrilling 1-0 victory against Oral Roberts University on Sunday night at Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A late goal by Zack Harris with only 12 minutes remaining secured the Matadors' first win of the season.

CSUN dominated possession early in the game, displaying impressive footwork as they probed for openings in the Oral Roberts defense. The Golden Eagles defended stoutly, preventing the Matadors from penetrating the box. The first half was a physical battle, with 15 total fouls, nine of which were committed by CSUN.

Goalkeeper Dorian Drucks made a crucial save on a shot from Leonardo Almeida Seixas, keeping the game scoreless in the first half. CSUN had multiple opportunities from corner kicks but failed to convert.

The second half saw increased intensity, with several scrums for the ball in the box. Two yellow cards were issued in quick succession, one to CSUN's Hagan Cupido, marking the first of his collegiate career.

Arturo Reveles fired a shot just outside the box in the 54th minute, narrowly missing the target. In the 62nd minute, Drucks again came up big, saving a freekick from Seixas. Two minutes later, CSUN finally tested the ORU goalkeeper with a shot from Enrique Pineda, but it was saved. Then, with just 12 minutes left, Zack Harris found the back of the net, sealing the victory for CSUN.
