Donald Trump's recent state visit to the U.K. has stirred up more than just diplomatic discussions. Eagle-eyed observers noticed the former president sporting a noticeable amount of makeup, seemingly applied to conceal bruising on his right hand. The Royal Family's official X account (formerly Twitter) even posted a photo where Trump's made-up hand was clearly visible, sparking a flurry of online commentary.

Royal Family's Subtle Shade?

The photo, taken at a state banquet held at Windsor Castle, shows Trump alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla. While the occasion was intended to be a display of diplomatic unity, the choice of photograph, focusing on Trump's visibly altered hand, has been interpreted by some as a subtle jab from the Royal Family. The internet quickly took notice, with users commenting on the apparent attempt to conceal the bruising.

Trump's Health Under Scrutiny

The White House has previously attributed the bruising to frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin as part of a cardiovascular prevention regime. In July, Trump was also diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that makes it difficult for blood to return to the heart, leading to swollen ankles. This condition was also noticed when Trump disembarked Air Force One in the UK, with his noticeably swollen ankles on display.

Adding to the discussion, past instances of the White House's X account posting photos that appeared to conceal both the president's ankles and hand bruising have resurfaced. This latest incident has only intensified the scrutiny surrounding Trump's health and the efforts to manage his public image.

The Daily Beast reached out to The White House for comment but has yet to receive a response.
