Georgia Bulldogs Nab 4-Star TE! Future's Bright in Athens!
Bulldogs Land Elite Tight End Prospect Brayden Fogle
The University of Georgia Bulldogs continue to build a powerhouse football program, securing a commitment from four-star tight end prospect Brayden Fogle from Lexington, Ohio. Fogle announced his decision on Friday, choosing the Bulldogs over offers from Penn State and LSU.
Fogle, a rising senior, is considered one of the top tight end prospects in the nation. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's ranked as the No. 7 player in Ohio, the No. 10 tight end nationally, and the No. 163 player overall. His commitment further solidifies Georgia's already impressive 2026 recruiting class, currently ranked No. 2 in the nation by Rivals.
What Fogle Brings to the Bulldogs
Coming off a productive junior season at Lexington High School, Fogle recorded 49 receptions for 584 yards and four touchdowns, leading his team to the regional semifinals. Scouts rave about his route-running abilities and athleticism. His Hudl film showcases his impressive catch radius and ability to make difficult catches, even in tight coverage. He primarily plays in the slot, demonstrating versatility in running various routes and creating separation from defenders.
“The biggest thing for me was their standard that they set down there to be great was motivating, inspiring,” Fogle told Dawgs247. “It’s just pushing you to be the best, and they do that very well. It’s the standard and how well they develop people.”
More Than Just a Football Player
Fogle is also a standout basketball player, earning Ohio Cardinal Conference Player of the Year honors as a sophomore. His basketball skills translate well to the football field, allowing him to box out defenders and secure contested catches. His size (6'3" and 230 pounds) makes him a difficult matchup for opposing defenses. He has even received basketball offers from programs like Arizona State and Texas A&M.
Fogle joins Lincoln Keyes as the second tight end commitment for the Bulldogs' 2026 class. With 27 commits already secured, the future looks bright for Georgia football.
