Ella Langley's Big Move: From Nashville to Lakeside Alabama!
Rising country star Ella Langley is making waves, not just in the music scene, but also in real estate! The Alabama native has purchased a lakefront property near her hometown in the Montgomery area, creating a haven away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville.
A Return to Roots
For Langley, this lakefront home is more than just a vacation spot; it's a return to her roots. "It just brings me back to who I am at the root of me every time I go back there," she shared with Audacy's Katie Neal. This connection to her home state is crucial for her creative process, providing the inspiration needed for songwriting.
Balancing Alabama and Tennessee
While Langley acknowledges the need to maintain a presence in Nashville for her career, Alabama remains close to her heart. "I think I’ll always have to live in Tennessee to some extent in my life, but being from Alabama, it’s so close. It’s under four hours to get there.”
A Whirlwind of Success
Langley's career has been on a rapid ascent, fueled by the success of her 2024 album "Hungover" and her hit duet with fellow Alabamian Riley Green, "You Look Like You Love Me." The singer recently took home five Academy of Country Music awards and performed at the inaugural Sand in My Boots festival.
New Music on the Horizon (Eventually!)
While fans are eager for new music, Langley has revealed that her next album won't be released until 2026. She emphasized the importance of taking time to craft a lasting record, allowing fans to truly delve into the music and discover new favorites. "I feel like people move on from their records so fast...and I think there’s something to be said with taking your time with making the record and putting all those pieces in place where it can last a long time."
Collaborating with Riley Green
Langley's success is also attributed to her collaboration with Riley Green. Their song "Don't Mind If I Do" is a lovelorn ballad that showcases their harmonies and emotional depth. Green carries the song with his vocals, while Langley adds a gentle and haunting touch.
