CNBC's Jim Cramer found himself in a bit of a pickle on Monday during a live broadcast of "Squawk on the Street." While discussing the newly agreed-upon trade framework between the U.S. and the U.K., which imposes a 15% tariff on most E.U. imports to the U.S., including cars, Cramer accidentally dropped the dreaded F-bomb.

The slip-up occurred after an onscreen graphic displayed the tariffs various countries had agreed to. "What the fuck--" Cramer blurted out before abruptly cutting himself off, realizing his mistake.

His co-hosts, David Faber and Carl Quintanilla, couldn't help but laugh as Cramer exclaimed, "Jesus Christ!" Faber chimed in with an "Oh my God!" The situation quickly devolved into a comical apology tour, with Cramer repeatedly saying, "So sorry. I'm so sorry. I take it right back. I take it right back."

Cramer continued to berate himself, adding, "That was bad. That was bad," while his co-hosts attempted to smooth things over. Faber brushed it off, saying, "It's OK. It's OK. We're in the moment. It's just the way we talk." Despite Faber's reassurance, Cramer expressed regret and jokingly said, "I'm done. I think I'm out of here."

Faber playfully replied, "No, you're fine," before teasing, "You want me to say [an expletive too]?"

The apology didn't stop there. Cramer took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask for forgiveness, writing, "I apologize to all viewers. I was too effusive in making my point about the great economy we have." He didn't clarify what he meant by "great economy," especially considering recent reports of accelerated inflation amid Trump's controversial tariffs.

Interestingly, X users seemed quite forgiving of Cramer's gaffe. One user, Barbie True Blue, tweeted, "no apology needed Jim. We are all grownups."

It seems even live television isn't immune to the occasional slip-up, and in this case, it resulted in a memorable and humorous moment for all involved.
