Nando's is bringing the heat to South Africa and beyond! The popular PERi-PERi chicken chain continues its expansion, with plans to open five new restaurants across Australia before December 2025, showing their commitment to growth and job creation.

Nando's Expands Down Under

The latest addition is in Indooroopilly, Queensland, where Nando's celebrated its grand opening by giving away free chicken and chips to the first 100 students. This new outlet has also created 20 local jobs, further boosting the local economy. Nando's QLD regional manager, Nathan Wyndham, expressed pride in serving Queensland communities for over two decades.

The Indooroopilly restaurant boasts a unique design, incorporating custom lighting, furniture, and artworks from Nando's extensive South African collection – reportedly the largest privately owned collection of its kind.

Michelin Star Meal Cheaper Than Nando's?

Meanwhile, across the globe, a food enthusiast discovered a surprising bargain. Callum Ryan, a content creator, found a Michelin-starred meal at The Coach in Marlow, UK, for less than the price of a Nando's! He enjoyed a three-course set menu for just £22.50, featuring burrata salad, smoked chicken mac and cheese, and lemon posset.

Callum was impressed with the portion sizes and the overall experience, stating that he would "100% recommend" it. He even admitted that the meal changed his perception of Michelin-star dining, making it seem more accessible and less exclusive.
