Wycombe Wanderers coach Mike Dodds is gearing up for a 'completely different challenge' as his team prepares to face Bromley in the League Cup. After a less-than-stellar start to the season, with only one win against Leyton Orient in the previous round, the Chairboys are looking to turn their fortunes around.

A recent 2-2 draw against Reading might have boosted morale, but Dodds is expected to shake things up with several changes to the lineup. Young talents like Cameron Stones and fringe players such as Alex Hartridge are likely to get a chance to prove their worth.

For Wycombe, a victory against Bromley would secure their spot in the third round for the second year running. However, Bromley is hungry for an upset, especially after eliminating Championship side Ipswich Town in the previous round. Remember, Ipswich were playing Premier League football just last season!

"Bromley will see us as an opportunity to knock out a team from the League above," Dodds acknowledged. "But we have to be completely obsessed with the process. Society wants all the pleasure, and it wants it now, and internally, we have to be obsessive with the process. We will turn up to Bromley, which will be a completely different challenge, and we will do what we do."

Adding to the challenge, Dodds provided an update on the injury status of key players Armando Junior Quitirna and Bradley Fink. Quitirna, who has scored two goals this season, missed the draw against Reading, while Fink hasn't played since the opening day defeat to Bradford. Their potential absence could impact Wycombe's attacking options.

Will Wycombe overcome the challenge and advance in the League Cup, or will Bromley pull off another stunning upset? All eyes will be on Hayes Lane to find out!
