SASSA Childcare Grants: What You Need to Know
While the Child Support Grant remains at R560 per month, Care Dependency grants have increased to R2,320, and Foster Child grants are at R1,250. Parents of newborns are encouraged to register their children early to ensure uninterrupted support. Required documents include valid IDs, proof of marital status, child’s birth certificate, proof of income, a certified three-month bank statement, and proof of residence.
