SASSA Grant Payment Dates for November 2025 Announced!
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has officially released the payment schedule for social grants in November 2025. Beneficiaries can now plan accordingly.
Here are the confirmed payment dates:
- Older Persons Grant: Tuesday, 4 November 2025
- Disability Grant: Wednesday, 5 November 2025
- Children’s and all other grants: Thursday, 6 November 2025
It's important to note that the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payments are processed differently. Instead of a single payment date, SRD grants are disbursed in batches throughout the month. Beneficiaries should check their application status online or contact SASSA directly for specific payment information.
Biometric Enrolment: A Reminder for New Applicants
SASSA is also reminding all new grant applicants about the mandatory biometric enrolment process. This initiative, implemented from 1 September 2025, aims to combat fraud and ensure that grants reach the intended recipients. New applicants are required to provide either a fingerprint or facial scan as part of their application.
SASSA reported that over 40,000 beneficiaries have already completed biometric enrolment, demonstrating the agency's commitment to secure and efficient grant distribution.
