Biometric Enrolment: A Must for New Applicants
SASSA is also reminding all new applicants about the mandatory biometric enrolment process. This initiative, which began on September 1st, requires a fingerprint or facial scan to help combat fraud and ensure that grants reach the intended beneficiaries. Over 40,000 SASSA beneficiaries have already completed biometric enrolment, demonstrating a commitment to a secure and efficient system.
October SRD Grant Payments Update
SASSA recently completed the SRD grant payments for October, which were made between October 24th and 29th. Beneficiaries are reminded to ensure their banking details are correct and verified to avoid any delays in future payments.
