Shebeshxt Behind Bars? Rapper's Bail Bid & Legal Drama Unfolds!

Limpopo rapper Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, famously known as Shebeshxt, finds himself in a whirlwind of legal troubles. The musician is currently facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm. This comes after an alleged shooting incident in Polokwane last month.

Shebeshxt's Bail Application in Polokwane

Shebeshxt appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for profiling and further investigation. He was expected to apply for bail on Friday morning. However, the state is opposing bail, aiming for a long jail sentence due to previous public outbursts and alleged assaults.

A History of Legal Issues

The court also heard that Shebeshxt has other pending charges, including another attempted murder, assault GBH, robbery with aggravating circumstances, among others, at Lebowakgomo Regional Court. There's even talk of consolidating these cases, potentially worsening his situation.

Adding to the drama, Shebeshxt was recently granted R5,000 bail in a separate attempted murder case linked to a road rage incident on 12 November 2025. His trial for this incident is scheduled for February 2026. He is accused of firing shots at another motorist after a heated argument.

Girlfriend's Hope Amidst Legal Battles

Despite the mounting legal pressure, Shebeshxt's girlfriend, Kholofelo Moloto, remains optimistic. She posted details of his scheduled appearances on Facebook, hoping he'll be released in time to perform. However, fans are skeptical, questioning his ability to fulfill his gig commitments.
