A tragic early morning shooting in Montgomery, Alabama has left one teenager dead and two others injured. The Montgomery Police Department (MPD) responded to reports of a shooting in the 4600 block of Mobile Highway around 12:06 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Kashabe Perkins Jr., 19, of Montgomery, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Police also found a juvenile with life-threatening injuries and an adult woman with non-life-threatening injuries.
