SASSA CEO Themba Matlou has announced an "all hands-on deck" approach for the August 2025 grant payment cycle, focusing on assisting beneficiaries identified for review. This initiative aims to streamline operations at local SASSA offices, ensuring a smoother experience for beneficiaries undergoing social grant reviews.

SASSA Enhances Operations for Grant Reviews

Matlou emphasized the agency's commitment to assisting clients with their grant reviews efficiently. "We are intent in our drive to assist all our clients to have their grants reviewed as seamlessly as possible," he stated. Senior staff are being deployed to assist clients directly, addressing inquiries about payment dates and ensuring no one leaves without assistance.

The SASSA grant payment dates for August 2025 are set for 5 - 7 August. While most payments are expected to proceed without issues, SASSA is taking proactive measures to prevent delays and ensure vulnerable individuals receive their grants promptly.
