"Of course, the draw leaves a bitter taste. We were doing well, managed to withstand their pressure. But we know the strength that Bahia has at home, and we know that taking a point home is important," Nonato declared on the pitch at Arena Fonte Nova.

The number 20 also highlighted that Fluminense put on a great performance, but lamented the draw suffered in the 43rd minute of the final stage, when victory already seemed on track.

There was a scare in the second half: Nonato fell on the field feeling pain in his knee and worried the fans. However, he tried to reassure the supporters. "I felt discomfort in my knee, but I managed to finish the game well. We will evaluate to see how it is," he explained.
