GES Opens Teacher Promotion Applications for 2025
The Ghana Education Service (GES) don open applications for promotion give qualified teachers and officers dem go higher ranks. Dis be good news give teachers wey dey look forward to climb the ladder for the education service.
Who Fit Apply?
According to GES, you fit apply if you be:
- Deputy Director: You for be Assistant Director I since 2020 or before, and you for dey post since then (unless you take approved leave).
- Assistant Director I: You for be Assistant Director II since 2020 or before, and you for dey post since then (unless you take approved leave).
- Assistant Director II: You for be Principal Superintendent since 2020 or before, and you for dey post since then (unless you take approved leave).
- Principal Superintendent: You for be Senior Superintendent I since 2020 or before, and you for dey post since then (unless you take approved leave). If you get approved undergraduate degree, dem go automatically put you on dis rank.
How to Apply?
GES say make applicants fill the form online. You go need upload your passport picture, your last promotion letter, and your highest academic certificate.
Important Things to Remember
Make sure all documents (except the passport picture) dey PDF format and dey clear. The application dey open from August 18 to September 5, 2025. So make you hurry up and apply!
If you get Masters or PhD degree, you fit still apply, but your course of study for be approved by GES. Also, you for no get the certificate before dem promote you last. The certificate you go use for the promotion for be obtained in or before 2022.
