Accra, Ghana – Businessman, sports administrator, and philanthropist Kennedy Agyepong, widely known as Kenpong, has reassured the public about his well-being following a recent accident. Kenpong sustained a cut on his upper eyelid after his vehicle collided with a wall along the Winneba Beach Road on Friday.

Speaking to Myjoyonline.com, Kenpong explained that he was driving from Accra to Winneba when fatigue led to the incident. He breached a wall, causing a portion of it to collapse onto his vehicle. News of the accident quickly spread on social media, with some reports falsely claiming it was fatal.

“No, I’m OK. I’m doing very fine and currently in Winneba. All is well. I had a cut on my eyelid, but all is well,” Kenpong clarified on Sunday evening, dispelling the rumors of any fatalities. He emphasized that the situation was under control and that he was recovering well.

Kenpong also mentioned that he had recently seen off Kelvin Kojo Fosu, the son of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, who was returning to his home in Germany. This detail highlights Kenpong’s connection to the music industry and his involvement in the lives of prominent figures.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of avoiding driving while fatigued, especially on long journeys. Kenpong's prompt response and reassurance have helped to allay public concerns and demonstrate his resilience in the face of adversity.

We wish Kenpong a speedy recovery and commend him for his transparency in addressing the situation.
