Stellenbosch FC Forced to Move! Stadium Closed for Renovations!

Stellenbosch FC supporters, brace yourselves! Your beloved Danie Craven Stadium will be temporarily unavailable until the end of December. Stellenbosch University, the stadium's owner and manager, is undertaking renovations in preparation for the prestigious 2026 FISU World University Championship Rugby Sevens.

While this decision is outside of Stellenbosch FC's control, the club fully supports the continued development of this iconic venue. They eagerly anticipate returning to the upgraded stadium once the renovations are complete.

A Temporary Setback, a Wider Opportunity

This temporary change of venue presents an exciting opportunity to bring top-tier football closer to the broader Western Cape community. More supporters will have the chance to experience Stellenbosch FC live at alternative venues.

Maroon Access Season Ticket Holders can rest assured that their access remains unaffected. Their cards will grant entry to all home fixtures staged by Stellenbosch FC at both Athlone Stadium and DHL Stadium.

Stay Tuned for Updates

Further details regarding the renovation timelines and the reopening of Danie Craven Stadium will be communicated in due course. Stellenbosch FC sincerely apologizes to supporters for any inconvenience caused and expresses gratitude for their understanding and continued backing during this period.
