Hard work pays off! Swazi-South African singer-songwriter Zee Nxumalo is celebrating a major milestone: purchasing a brand new Mercedes-Benz V Class, reportedly worth R2 million. This impressive purchase is a testament to her rising success and dedication to her craft.

Zee Nxumalo picked up her new wheels with her family, including her proud mother, who showered her daughter with praise for her talent and expressed gratitude. The comments section on social media exploded with congratulations from fellow celebrities like Naledi Aphiwe, Mawhoo, Cyan, Londie London, Nadia Nakai, Focalistic, and Mvelo Makhanya.

With a touch of humour, Zee captioned a video of her new car: “Please be patient on the road😍 driver is still a LEARNER.”

Zee Nxumalo's breakthrough came in 2022 with her debut, KwaNxumalo. The following year saw the release of “Funk 55,” a collaboration with Shakes & Les and DBN Gogo, featuring Ceeka RSA and Chley, which peaked at No. 2 on the Local Streaming Chart Top 10. Her single “Thula Mabota” with Pabi Cooper and 031choppa, featuring Shakes & Les, released on March 29, 2024, achieved platinum certification in South Africa.

She also featured on “Ama Gear” with Dlala Thukzin and Funky QLA, featuring MK Productions, which debuted at number 5 on the Local Streaming Top 10. In October 2024, Zee announced her extended play (EP) Inja Ye Game, released on November 15, 2024. The lead single, “Malume” with Djy Biza and 031 Choppa, featuring Springle and DJ Tira, dropped on October 26, 2024.

Beyond her music career, Zee is also a brand ambassador, currently representing the new Pink Blush Edition of the iconic PUMA Speedcat sneaker.
