South American football expert Tim Vickery certainly thinks so, hailing Estevao as the most talented Brazilian player since Neymar.
Estevao: More Stable Than Neymar?
Vickery, speaking to Sky Sports News, believes Estevao possesses advantages over his compatriot. "He's regarded as the best, brightest, most talented player to come out of Brazil since Neymar, with one or two advantages," Vickery stated, adding, "He seems more stable than Neymar and so far has less baggage around him. The sky is the limit."
The comparison to Neymar is significant, given Neymar's illustrious career at Barcelona, PSG, and with the Brazilian national team. However, Neymar has also faced scrutiny for off-field issues. Estevao, it seems, is aiming for a different trajectory.
Chelsea Dominates 10-Man Barcelona
Chelsea's victory was comprehensive. An early own goal by Jules Kounde set the tone, and Barcelona's woes were compounded by a red card for captain Ronald Araujo just before halftime. Estevao's goal in the second half was a moment of pure brilliance, and Liam Delap added a third to seal the victory. Chelsea even had three goals ruled out, highlighting their dominance.
"Since I started playing professional football, I think this is the best moment for me. I am so happy," Estevao said after the match. "Since I arrived here I've been treated with such kindness - I love to create happiness for the fans."

Estevao, nicknamed "Messinho" (Little Messi) in his youth, is also being compared to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Vickery believes Estevao handles the pressure well. "Comparisons with the top drawer - they put burden of pressure on him but he seems to respond exceptionally well to pressure," he said.
