Projections suggest the Moroccan club has a mere 10% chance of progressing from the group stage and less than 1% chance of winning the tournament.
This places them in a similar bracket to perceived weaker teams like Auckland City (New Zealand) and Botafogo (Brazil). Wydad has been drawn into a particularly challenging Group G, alongside Manchester City (English champions), Juventus (Italian giants), and Al-Ain (UAE).
