Proteas vs Black Caps: Epic T20 Showdown in Zim Awaits!
The Proteas are ready to take on New Zealand in the final of the T20 International Tri-Series, set to explode at Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe this Saturday afternoon. Coach Shukri Conrad is buzzing with excitement about the squad's talent and potential, and reckons they're hungry to snag a win against the Black Caps.
New Zealand has been on a roll, undefeated in the series after beating both South Africa and Zimbabwe twice. But Coach Conrad is locked in on Saturday's game.
"It’s been largely experimental for me. I have sat back and observed and watched a lot, tinkered here and there, but it was always going to be about this final on Saturday. I would be disappointed if we didn’t put up a bold showing and try and get one over New Zealand," he said.
There's been plenty of chatter about the squad chosen to play against Australia next month. Keep an eye on players like off-spinner Prenelan Subrayen, batsmen Dewald Brevis, and Lhuan-dré Pretorius – they've all been called up.
Coach Shukri is backing his players' T20 game. "The final on Saturday will give a good idea of where everybody is at. I am very excited about the young talent we have at our disposal, especially in the T20 format. They are players that can make a huge impact. I am looking forward to spending a while with them to see how they develop.”
This final will be a cracker! Don't miss the Proteas giving it their all against a strong New Zealand side.
