Eid and Bank Holidays: Wetin Dey Happen?

Initially, dem say banks for Kerala for close today, June 6th, 2025, because of Bakrid (Eid al-Adha). But e be like dem change am small. According to local goment announcement and when dem sight the moon, dem reschedule am. So, make you check if your bank dey close for your area.

Plus, June 7th be Saturday, wey be like first Saturday for the month, so usually banks dey open. But because of state-specific holidays for Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha), many banks go still close. So, even though e no be second or fourth Saturday (wey be normal bank holiday), banks go still dey closed for some states.

Eid al-Adha and Taqwa: The Real Meaning
