The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano Southwest Constituency, Elvis Osei Mensah-Dapaah, don promise to renovate the science laboratory of Mankranso Senior High School (SHS). E dey come after the school do proper for the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The MP talk am for interview with JoyNews when he visit the School of Graduate Studies for University of Cape Coast. He go support Mankranso SHS for their semifinal contest against Mfantsipim School and Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS).
According to the MP, the school's performance for the competition, even though the infrastructure no dey too good, motivate am to quicken development projects for the school. He talk say even though he be opposition MP, he know how things dey be. He say he go continue projects like dormitories and classrooms wey ein predecessor start.
He reveal say Mankranso SHS don already visit the school and see say dem need help quick. He talk say the school get the structure for science lab, but the condition no dey good. So he go start with the lab. He add say nothing dey inside the structure.
The MP talk say aside government money, he dey ready to use ein own money to help change the school. He dey happy say the students and teachers of Mankranso SHS put their community on the map. He talk say their performance inspire am to do more for the school. He no go rely on government money alone, he go use ein own money to support the school because dem give dem good name.
Mankranso SHS NSMQ Journey
Mankranso SHS dey do well for the NSMQ 2025. Dem reach the semi-finals, wey be big achievement for the school. The MP support show say he dey believe in education and he wan make sure say the students get the resources wey dem need to succeed.
Future Plans for Mankranso SHS
The MP dey plan to do more projects for Mankranso SHS to make sure say the students get the best education possible. He dey work hard to improve the school's infrastructure and provide them with the resources wey dem need to continue to dey do well for academic competitions.
